Our years of experience exploring Tuscany have enabled us to offer the highlights of the region. Walk in the footsteps of the Romans, pilgrims, along cart tracks, trade routes, past ancient stone farmhouses, churches, through villages and majestic hilltowns.
Our tours are far more than walking; along the way, we enjoy authentic Tuscan food and wine, look for local celebrations, meet local people and at the end of the day have a base town to return to.
Our tours are planned to enjoy the most vibrant seasons. Spring is alive with wild flowers, budding vines and roses climbing stonewalls. Autumn is dramatic with the bouquet of ripening grapes, olives trees full of fruit and golden colors creeping over the forests.
Tuscany has been the passion and part time home of the directors who have been leading tours in Tuscany for almost a decade.
Radda in Chianti: Classic Chianti Pathways
Small, cultivated areas of vineyards and olive groves are interspersed with large tracts of woods. Throughout this rugged landscape are pathways connecting centuries old stone farmhouses, churches, small hamlets and the Chianti wineries. Chianti's heart is rustic, earthy and warm, which also describes the people.

San Gimignano: Treasures of Central Tuscany
The medieval Hilltown of San Gimignano with its towers stands majestically above the rolling hills, open pastures, vineyards and forests. Today, a legacy of the Via Francigena pilgrim path and trading routes passing through San Gimignano enables us to link together the very best of history, landscape and walking.
Montalcino: Hilltown Gems of Southern Tuscany
Rolling hills, grand panoramic views, the fertile hillsides producing Brunello wine are the hallmarks of Southern Tuscany. The Val d'Orcia, considered the most beautiful of Tuscany's valleys, has been declared an Artistic, Natural and Cultural Park. Roman roads, Etruscan trade routes and mule tracts intersperse the landscape providing us with magnificent walking.
